Data Governance Analyst

Overview

In this role you will support the data governance program by implementing frameworks, policies, and standards. You will collaborate with business units and IT to ensure accurate, well-managed data and maintained metadata. You will create materials for governance forums and trainings, and help develop KPIs/KRIs to measure success. This position centers on enabling reliable data governance across the organization, contributing to data-driven decision making and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Implement data governance framework, policies, standards
• Ensure data lineage capture for all critical data elements
• Collaborate with business units and IT to maintain data accuracy and management
• Engage with stewards and SMEs to create and maintain data dictionary and metadata repository
• Create decks for data governance forums and contribute in these forums
• Develop data governance training programs and conduct trainings
• Contribute to KPI and KRI creation for data governance
• Assist in creating newsletters and promotional material for the Chief Data Office
