Data Governance Analyst

As a Data Governance & Reporting Analyst, you will help ensure trusted data drives decisions across Lowell. You’ll monitor key data sources, resolve data issues, and support centrally governed reporting. You’ll document data lineage and maintain clear definitions for metrics, calculations, and source systems within governance tooling. You’ll enhance data quality, contribute to issue management, and design automated controls to improve governance practices and reporting standards. This is a pivotal role shaping data governance in a fast‑growing financial services environment.

• Monitor key data sources and identify data issues
• Resolve data quality problems and support centrally governed reporting
• Document and maintain data lineage, definitions, and calculations
• Ensure data quality is complete and performing as expected
• Contribute to data issue management processes and governance controls
• Suggest improvements to governance practices, policies, and reporting standards

• Proven experience in data analysis, data quality assessment, and issue resolution in a business outcomes environment
• Strong knowledge of data quality, governance, and discovery tooling
• Proficiency in SQL for data mining and analysis on large datasets
• Experience with Python, Power Query, and Power BI for data analysis and reporting
• Ability to prioritise and own outcomes
