Data Governance Analyst Intern

Use SQL and Python to improve trusted data at Geotab through a flexible hybrid, full-time internship beginning January 2027. This 12-month work-term offers paid, hands-on experience.

As a Data Governance and Operations Data Analyst Intern, you will support certified metrics, scheduled pipelines, and data standards. You will analyze large datasets, investigate patterns, and answer business questions using SQL, Python, and statistical tools. The work connects technical teams with Revenue Operations, Finance, Marketing, and other partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate, consistent data with GDOG and partner teams
• Write and review SQL and Python using AI coding assistants
• Reconcile systems, investigate gaps, and check data quality
• Monitor pipelines, document failures, causes, and fixes
• Maintain reports, dashboards, standards, and documentation

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
• SQL, Python, or Google BigQuery experience
• Hands-on Claude Code or Codex experience with verifiable examples
• Knowledge of data warehousing, modeling, statistics, and reporting
• Strong analytical, communication, organization, and time management skills
