Data Governance Lead Asset Management

Shape Orbis data governance in London or Vancouver, using data quality and stewardship to support investment decisions and AI readiness.

As Data Governance Lead, you will own the Data Governance Framework and roadmap across Orbis. You will align governance with Data Strategy, AI Strategy, regulatory obligations and target architecture. The role covers data domains, ownership, quality, controls and lineage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set governance direction, roadmap and priorities across Orbis
• Lead governance forums and report maturity, performance and risk
• Maintain domain and Critical Data Asset registers
• Define data quality rules, metrics, targets and reporting
• Build data literacy and ownership across business pillars

Requirements:

• Significant data governance, management or data risk experience
• Asset management governance framework experience
• Experience with ownership, stewardship and critical data
• Hands-on catalogue, glossary, lineage or quality tooling
• Strong facilitation, communication and influencing skills

Lead practical governance, quality improvement and accountability at Orbis while supporting investment data and artificial intelligence ambitions.
