Overview
In this role you will lead day-to-day data governance efforts for a banking client, shaping policies to ensure data quality and master data management. You’ll partner with the BI team to align data management with analytics needs, driving governance across data assets. This on-site London role offers hybrid flexibility and a focus on measurable improvements in data stewardship and regulatory readiness. You will influence data governance maturity within the organization and contribute to data-driven decision making.
Responsibilities- Day-to-day management of data governance initiatives
- Develop policies and procedures to support data quality and master data management
- Collaborate with the business intelligence team to meet data management and analytics requirements
- 5–10 years of experience (banking environment preferred)
- Expertise in Data Governance, Data Quality, and Master Data Management
- Experience developing data-related policies and procedures
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, or related field
- Professional certification (e.g. CDQM) in data management or related field is desirable
