Data Governance Product Owner

Shape data quality exception management at Citi from Mississauga, Ontario, using requirements expertise and data governance knowledge in a hybrid setting.

As a senior individual contributor, you will own requirements for data quality exception management tools. You will analyze current capabilities and target-state models while building an advancement roadmap. Your work connects business stakeholders, developers, and technical teams across Citi.

Key Responsibilities:

• Author functional requirements in JIRA stories
• Lead grooming sessions with developers and technical staff
• Prioritize release sprint requirements
• Identify automation and AI-based capability opportunities
• Track data issues, ownership, dates, metrics, and reporting

Requirements:

• Six to ten years of relevant experience
• Data Governance, Data Management, or Process Engineering experience
• Business or functional requirements authoring experience
• Advanced understanding of project management methodologies
• Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred
