Overview

In this role you will help drive Agilent's shift to a modern data ecosystem, delivering scalable analytics and actionable insights. You will partner with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into data products and dashboards, supporting migration and modernization of analytics capabilities. You will work with Snowflake, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric to enable data-driven decision making across Sales, Services, and Marketing. This is an opportunity to shape analytics strategy and elevate data literacy in a global context.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand analytical needs and translate them into scalable solutions
  • Design and develop dashboards and data products using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric
  • Contribute to analytics platform migration and modernization efforts
  • Develop and maintain data models leveraging Snowflake
  • Define technical requirements and data structures to support analytics use cases
  • Apply statistical analysis and visualization techniques to generate actionable insights
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across analytics solutions
  • Create and maintain documentation, including dashboard definitions and user training materials
  • Collaborate with IT, data engineering, and business teams to align on data architecture and priorities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to drive data literacy and adoption of new analytics platforms
Key requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboards/reports)
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric
  • Programming experience (SQL, Python)
  • Experience with BI tools like Qlik, Tableau, Spotfire is a plus
  • Experience with BI platform migrations to Power BI
  • Understanding of enterprise data systems (e.g., SAP, CRM) and data integration concepts
  • Strong stakeholder management and global communication skills
  • Ability to bridge business requirements and technical implementation
  • Experience in cross-functional and transformation-driven environments
