You’ll work closely with business stakeholders and Data Engineers, helping to shape both the front-end data experience and the governance and data foundations behind it.

The Role

  • Build engaging Power BI dashboards and visualisations, alongside Databricks AI/BI capabilities and Genie Rooms.
  • Configure and continuously improve Databricks Genie Rooms to enable natural-language analytics.
  • Support the development of ontology, taxonomy, metadata, tagging and business glossaries.
  • Understand data lineage from source through to consumption, helping ensure data is trusted, traceable and fit for purpose.
  • Validate data, calculations, visualisations and AI-generated responses.
  • Work closely with Data Engineers to improve data quality, lineage and governance.
  • Support the development of AI-enabled data solutions, including areas such as RAG and LLM integrations.
  • Gather stakeholder feedback and continuously improve solutions based on business needs and adoption

Your Profile

  • Experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Visualisation or Data Governance.
  • Strong experience building dashboards and visualisations using Power BI, Databricks AI/BI, Tableau or similar.
  • Good working knowledge of SQL and data validation.
  • Understanding of semantic modelling, KPIs, metrics and business definitions.
  • Knowledge of data governance, metadata, taxonomy, ontology and/or lineage.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to break down business requirements and translate them into practical data solutions.
  • Comfortable working closely with Data Engineers and understanding what needs to happen across both the front and back end.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • An interest in AI-enabled analytics and natural-language data experiences.
