Data Integration Engineer

In this role you will help unlock value from data by designing and operating data integration solutions within the IT data, analytics and development function. You will contribute to governance of integrations and master data management, ensuring accurate and timely data across the business. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve data flows, performance and data quality, while promoting central-team standards. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data integration solutions aligned with master data management best practices
• Champion governance across integrations and master data management
• Monitor and optimise data integrations to improve performance and efficiency
• Support the implementation and management of master data management for critical data assets
• Design and implement technical solutions to enhance data governance, accuracy and integrity
• Troubleshoot data integration issues and implement corrective measures
• Adopt central-team standards and provide guidance to the wider network of data practitioners
• Provide constructive challenge to team ways of working and propose improvements and new opportunities

• Proven technical experience as an Integration Engineer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of master data management and data governance principles
• Proficiency in data integration tools and ETL processes
• Ability to capture structured business requirements in user stories
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solution designs
• Experience working with APIs to enable integrations
