Senior Data Integration & Migration Analyst

Contract | Inside IR35 | (Apply online only) per day | London Hybrid (2-3 days per week)

We're supporting a leading organisation within the insurance sector as they embark on a significant data transformation programme. This is a specialist role focused on data migration, integration, profiling, and cleansing , rather than traditional reporting, BI, or data warehousing.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Data Migration Analyst, Data Integration Specialist, or junior Data Architect with a strong understanding of data structures, source-to-target mapping, and complex migration projects.

This is not a traditional Data Analyst position focused on reporting, dashboards, or moving data into data warehouses. We are specifically seeking candidates with hands-on experience migrating and transforming data across multiple business applications and source systems.


Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and profile data across multiple legacy systems to identify quality issues, inconsistencies, and gaps.
  • Cleanse, standardise, and enrich large datasets ahead of migration activities.
  • Consolidate data from multiple source systems into a single target platform.
  • Support data mapping, transformation, and validation activities throughout the migration lifecycle.
  • Act as a key point of contact for technical stakeholders and delivery partners on data-related queries.
  • Investigate and resolve data migration, integration, and loading issues.

Experience Required
  • Proven experience delivering application-to-application data migration projects .
  • Strong background in data profiling, data quality, cleansing, and validation .
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.
  • Experience supporting source-to-target mappings and migration design.
  • Strong understanding of CRM platforms and associated data models.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable
  • Experience within the insurance sector.
  • Exposure to Databricks environments.
  • Experience supporting CRM migrations and integrations.
