Data Integration Specialist

In this role you will support the delivery of technical solutions that integrate complex data to enable data-driven decisions. You will contribute to MARCOM’s data integration projects and help lift capability in data engineering, data science, and project management. The position emphasizes standards and reliable data for informed decision making in a multinational security context. This fixed-term post offers the chance to shape data products and tools used across MARCOM’s operations. You will work with cross-functional teams to advance maritime situational awareness and decision support.

• Support delivery of data integration solutions to enable data-driven decisions
• Contribute to critical data integration projects and standardisation efforts
• Develop and manage data products and analytical tools compliant with NATO standards
• Contribute to data governance, security, integrity, and availability of data sets
• Support capability resilience through architecture, policies, and ways of working

• 3+ years experience of data integration, data analysis or software development
• 1+ year experience applying data science tools for advanced analytics, ML, and data visualisation
• Higher Secondary education and vocational training in IT/CS/data science or related field; or secondary education with professional qualification and 5 years related experience
• Demonstrable experience delivering data integration using AI/ML tools (e.g., Databricks, Watson, Microsoft Cognitive Toolkit, TensorFlow)
• Demonstrable experience designing mathematical and statistical models for business challenges
• Demonstrable experience applying data science, analytics, and data integration tools/programming languages (Python, R, KNIME, Splunk, Geo data)
