Data Lead – Fabric, DWH, ETL/ELT, Operations

As Data Lead, you shepherd a 5-person data team to deliver enterprise-scale BI and data management. You will drive Power BI solutions for a global Operations audience and own ETL/ELT workflows using SSIS/SSRS, Azure Data Factory, or Microsoft Fabric. You’ll ensure 24x7 uptime and service excellence while shaping data architecture and governance for mission-critical systems. You will lead global finance system implementations, migrating legacy data into multiple finance environments. This role combines technical leadership with strategic migration initiatives in a global setting.

• Lead and mentor a team of 5 data professionals
• Develop and support Power BI solutions for global Operations
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS/SSRS, Azure Data Factory, or Microsoft Fabric
• Design and optimise database schemas, data models, and SQL performance
• Support 24x7 mission-critical systems focusing on uptime and reliability
• Lead enterprise global finance system implementations and finance data migrations
• Sponsor and drive migration/integration activities into Microsoft Fabric
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions

• Strong Data Management/BI background
• Expert Microsoft SQL Server experience
• Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service proficiency
• Hands-on database design and data modelling
• Excellent SQL skills (scripts, stored procedures, tuning)
• Experience leading data teams and global projects
• Experience with finance system implementations and data migrations
