Overview

In this role, you will build and manage databases for national and international clinical trials, natural history and rehabilitation studies within STRONG. You will support researchers across the Oxford Neuromuscular Centre and OUH, ensuring data quality and documentation. The position is based at John Radcliffe Hospital and involves collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to advance paediatric neuromuscular research. This fixed-term role offers scope to shape data management for impactful clinical studies.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain databases for clinical trials and related research studies
  • Monitor data quality, perform data cleaning, and raise data queries
  • Design database structures to meet researcher and trial needs
  • Maintain documentation and data management procedures
  • Liaise with OUH, Department of Paediatrics and ONMC across multidisciplinary teams
  • Support data management activities for trials and natural history studies
  • Contribute to data governance and trial documentation

Key requirements
  • Proven experience in data management for clinical trials (CRF design, validation, management and data cleaning)
  • Experience with database design and data management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
