At Lincolnshire Housing Partnership (LHP), we want data to be at the heart of better decision-making, allowing us to remain compliant with regulation, to deliver great customer outcomes and be future ready for Artificial Intelligence (AI) too.

As we continue our data and technology roadmap to replace key business systems such as our Housing Management System (HMS) and Repairs Management Solution (RMS). We’re looking for an experienced Data Manager to shape our Data Management Framework, influence key stakeholders, and help LHP unlock the full potential of its data.

Why this role matters:

This is a pivotal leadership role within our Data & Technology Department you’ll be responsible for driving data governance, improving data quality, embedding data ownership, and increasing data literacy across the organisation. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will lead our data team, champion best practice, and help ensure trusted, high-quality data underpins operational performance, strategic decision‑making, and support our system team to embed a future‑ready data warehouse using Microsoft Fabric.

You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own diary and the flexibility to work from locations that best support the delivery of your projects across Lincolnshire. This could be at home, our main offices in Grimsby or Boston , our various community hubs, at home, local coffee shops, or wherever works best for you.

It would be great if you also bring:

  • Extensive experience shaping data strategies and data quality standards to improve business performance metrics and regulatory compliance.
  • Extensive data quality expertise to define what good look like and helping people understand what this means to them.
  • Extensive experience in data quality issue management including defining how this should work, implementing the right processes across the business and using it to drive value adding improvements.
  • Extensive experience presenting and communicating with senior business stakeholders and work colleagues.
  • Experience in being able to persuade and influence senior decision makers.
  • Experience in planning, running, and extracting the right information from requirement workshops with people.
  • A Qualifications in Data Management Practitioner or equivalent

What would a typical week be as a Data Manager

  • Responsible for business partnering with managers, team leaders and senior stakeholders.
  • Responsible for conducting Data Quality maturity assessments, data discovery workshops, forming data improvement plans, and delivering the desired change to agreed deadlines.
  • Drive adoption of Data Quality controls within an agreed Data Framework.
  • Responsible for creating regular stakeholder performance reports.
  • Provide line management for the data team, ensuring workload are managed effectively to meet deadlines and deliver the quality required.
  • Responsible for developing, recommending and promoting Data Literacy training across the organisation in partnership with our corporate training team
  • Act as technical expert on Data Management and Data Governance lead at LHP.
