In this role you drive data migration initiatives within a cloud-focused data platform team. You will design, build, and validate migration pipelines from legacy systems to AWS-based Lakehouse environments, ensuring data quality and performance. You’ll collaborate with architects, engineers, and analysts to deliver scalable, reliable solutions and participate in testing and governance activities. The opportunity combines hands-on ETL/ELT development with a strong focus on data accuracy and secure data handling in a modern AWS data ecosystem.

- Build and maintain data migration pipelines from legacy data warehouses to AWS-based platforms
- Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, Python/PySpark, SQL, YAML configurations
- Support bulk and incremental data migrations and cloud repointing
- Test ETL/ELT pipelines on AWS services (Glue, Iceberg) and validate data lakehouse migrations
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, analysts and QA teams to deliver migration solutions
- Contribute to documentation and reusable components
- Ensure data quality and governance during migration
- Experience in data engineering or data migration delivery
- Strong focus on testing, validation, and data quality assurance
- Ability to work across data pipelines and transformation workflows
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
