Data Migration Manager

In this role you will own and shape data migration across the organisation, aligning with transformation programs and ERP enablement (D365). You will collaborate with Data Architect, Product Teams, and Finance to ensure data quality and timely delivery of migration workstreams. You’ll lead data analysis, cleansing, and mapping with a focus on scalable, reusable migration patterns. This is a hands-on design and leadership position with significant cross-functional impact and a clear data governance through the merger and SaaS implementation agenda.

• Define the data migration strategy and improve data cleanse approaches
• Create and maintain the data migration plan with cycles, resourcing, and timelines
• Oversee extraction, transformation, and load activities and manage data issues with stakeholders
• Lead data analysis and profiling to identify gaps and develop data quality reporting
• Collaborate with Finance to validate migrated data against source financial records
• Document data issues, mappings, business rules, and risks with stakeholders
• Conduct data due diligence and mapping sessions with acquisition targets
• Manage a team of data migration analysts and develop progression plans

• Hands-on experience with large-scale data migrations in medium or larger organisations
• Analytical mindset with attention to coding and documentation standards
• Advanced T-SQL programming and performance tuning
• Skilled in using SSIS or Azure Data Factory for data migration
• Excellent communication and ability to translate technical findings into financial impact language
• Extensive experience transforming data through integrations
• Experience with project management and workflow tools (Azure DevOps)
• Skills in technical report building tools such as Power BI
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform is preferred
