Data Modelling Specialist - Senior Python Developer

We’re looking for an experienced Data Modelling Specialist – Senior Python Developer to join a team working on enterprise data governance, metadata management and data modelling within a highly regulated financial services environment.

You’ll be responsible for designing and maintaining data and asset models in Collibra , developing high-quality Python solutions and building reusable automation to support data governance, data quality, lineage, integrations and large-scale financial and risk data.

• Git, Testing & CI/CD
• 8-10+ years' professional experience, with strong commercial Python development.
• Hands-on experience with Pydantic and FastAPI .
• Strong experience with Collibra or a similar metadata management platform .
• Experience across data modelling, metadata management, taxonomies, lineage, data quality and business glossaries.
• Financial services experience, ideally within banking, risk, compliance, regulatory reporting or technology risk.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, YAML and SQL.
• Experience with modern engineering practices including Git, code reviews, automated testing and CI/CD.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
