In this role you will oversee the collection and quality of Insurance data across Fitch Group, aligning with Ratings and Solutions teams. You will help centralise data capture, define collection methodologies, and implement standardised templates, including governance in Collibra. You will lead data stewardship, mentoring, and training while exploring AI/ML-enabled improvements to data workflows. - Oversee data collection quality for Insurance financials and ensure processing by input analysts and validation by internal analysts
- Translate strategic initiatives into practical projects considering stakeholder inputs
- Lead data governance activities and standardised terms documentation (Collibra)
- Mentor and train staff, including outsource teams, to maintain high data quality
- Develop and present monthly management reporting to stakeholders
- Drive exploration and adoption of AI/ML techniques across data workflows and decisioning
- Define data collection methodologies to meet current and future needs of ratings analysts and product workflows
- Collaborate with Ratings analytical staff and Product Owners to ensure data adequacy for stakeholders
- Set client service and stakeholder management standards and resolve disagreements professionally
- Identify cross-jurisdiction data differences and build consensus on standardised approaches
- Capture underlying business needs and translate into practical data solutions
- Guide and manage workloads, delegating tasks while maintaining ownership
- Provide training and support for data capture processes and exception handling
- Document data definitions and ensure they align with Fitch standardised templates
- Lead initiatives to maintain high data quality across offshore teams
- Experience with Insurance financial data in financial institutions or related risk environments
- Ability to work independently and lead a team
- CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CFA qualifications preferred
