Data Operations Manager Snowflake SQL

Lead data lifecycle ownership with Snowflake SQL expertise in a hybrid model averaging at least three office days weekly. Build trusted commercial data operations.

As Data Operations Manager at Alexion, you will manage data feeds, quality, delivery, and operational reliability. You will work across specialty pharmacy, infusion, wholesaler, distributor, and third-party aggregation data. The position requires requirements definition, pipeline troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and downstream data product support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess feeds and define mappings, specifications, requirements, and acceptance criteria
• Oversee scheduled intake, delivery, freshness, completeness, and recovery
• Investigate discrepancies using SQL in Snowflake and implement durable fixes
• Partner with engineers on reusable models, pipelines, controls, and lineage
• Manage Jira priorities, cutovers, hypercare, and post-release reviews

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and at least five years
• Strong SQL and practical Snowflake knowledge across core platform capabilities
• Working knowledge of Python, Airflow, and dbt or comparable tools
• Ability to trace data end to end and assess impacts
• Experience with pharmaceutical commercial data and business-facing delivery
