Overview

In this role you will own enterprise-wide data standards and governance, guiding data lifecycle initiatives to improve quality, resilience, and scalability. You’ll partner with business and tech teams to translate needs into scalable data solutions, mentor analysts, and lead automation efforts. You drive operational excellence while reducing data risk through strong incident management and root-cause analysis. This position sits at the intersection of data strategy and execution, shaping how data supports critical decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Own and optimize Data Operations pipelines with emphasis on cleansing and maintaining corporate structures and company data
  • Lead incident management, perform root-cause analyses, and design long-term preventative solutions
  • Act as subject-matter expert on company data and data flows; mentor junior team members
  • Architect and drive automation across Data Operations, including workflows, data validation, monitoring, and reporting
  • Partner with Banker Success, Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to translate needs into scalable solutions
  • Identify data ecosystem gaps; lead cross-functional initiatives to improve reliability, efficiency, and scalability
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Analysts and Interns; contribute to onboarding and documentation
  • Manage legacy processes as needed
Key requirements
  • 3–6 years of relevant industry experience in data operations, research, financial services operations, or similar
  • Strong preference for experience with data operations, financial services, or related roles
  • Advanced financial and/or technical skillset with ability to navigate complex datasets and systems
  • Proven ability to operate independently and lead end-to-end initiatives
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
