We're looking for a Senior Backend Platform Engineer with strong Python development experience and a solid background in building cloud-native applications, microservices, and REST APIs. Experience developing Snowflake-native applications is an important part of the role.

  • 10+ years of Backend Engineering experience
  • REST APIs & OpenAPI/Swagger
  • SQL (Snowflake & PostgreSQL)
  • Snowflake (Snowpark, Stored Procedures, Tasks, Streams & Dynamic Tables)
  • Strong ownership of end-to-end feature delivery

Nice to Have

  • Payments or FinTech experience
  • Backend Platform Engineering experience

What You'll Do

  • Build scalable backend services using Python & FastAPI
  • Design and deploy cloud-native microservices
  • Develop Snowflake-native applications and backend processing engines
  • Design secure, versioned REST APIs
  • Deliver production-ready features from design through deployment
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline (Master's preferred)
  • 10+ years of professional backend/platform engineering experience
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and own features end-to-end
