Contract Data Product Manager (Outside IR35)

The role

Our client, a fast-paced and genuinely exciting brand, is looking for a contract Data Product Manager to join their Global Data & Analytics team. You'll be taking ownership of data products from business conversation through to shipped outcome, working across data engineering, analytics and the wider business.

This isn't a requirements-gathering seat. You'll be expected to own outcomes end to end, shape how the team prioritises and delivers, and bring enough technical fluency to influence architecture and data modelling decisions alongside engineering.

What you'll be doing

• Leading the development of governed, self-serve data products that replace manual reporting and manual Excel-based processes
• Working directly with stakeholders to identify the data and capabilities needed to improve business decision-making
• Leading cross-functional teams to curate, transform and consolidate data into discoverable, trusted products
• Shifting the team's ways of working from reactive request-taking toward accountable outcome ownership
• Partnering with engineering on architecture, data modelling and tooling trade-offs
• Communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business problems into scoped, deliverable outcomes

What we're looking for

• FMCG or retail background - you'll have a background working in dynamic, innovation led environments
• Hands‑on experience with Snowflake, ideally building governed, self‑serve data products rather than just reporting on top of them
• Confidence owning outcomes independently, not just documenting requirements for someone else to deliver
• Strong stakeholder management - ability to work across a wide range of stakeholders

This role requires an immediate start. Initial 3 month contract, likely to extend.
