Data Science Manager Applied AI

Lead applied AI and machine learning at Homebase as a Data Science Manager in a hybrid, AI-first environment. Guide models from proof-of-concept to production.

This manager leads a growing team of data scientists shaping product, platform, and people decisions. The work spans intelligent scheduling, hiring models, and internal sales and marketing targeting. You will partner with Engineering, Product, Design, and platform engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing data scientists
• Deliver models powering scheduling, hiring, payroll, pricing, and personalization
• Design A/B and multivariate experiments
• Embed data and AI into user experiences
• Advise cross-functional and executive stakeholders

Requirements:

• 6+ years in data science, applied machine learning, or AI development
• 2+ years leading and mentoring data scientists
• Strong machine learning background
• Production ML model delivery experience
• Proficiency in SQL and Python
