Lead data science and AI at Homebase while growing scientists and shipping models into production in a hybrid, AI-first environment. As Manager, Data Science, you will lead a growing team and partner with platform engineering on production delivery. The work spans product, platform, and people, including scheduling, hiring, payroll, pricing, personalization, and sales or marketing targeting. You will collaborate across Engineering, Product, and Design. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and grow high-performing data scientists Mentor scientists to think like product owners Bring models from proof-of-concept into production Design A/B and multivariate experiments Advise cross-functional and executive stakeholders Requirements:
2+ years leading, mentoring, and growing data scientists 6+ years in data science, machine learning, or AI development Proven record shipping machine learning models into production Proficiency in SQL and Python Strong machine learning background and partnership skills Shape applied AI at scale through people leadership, experimentation, production machine learning, and cross-functional partnership at Homebase.
