Overview
As a Data Scientist in the Partner Flow team, you design experiments and model customer behavior across the partner funnel to inform product and strategy decisions. You will shape the team’s analytical approach, working closely with commercial, strategy, and product colleagues. Your work will influence conversion, product interactions, and competitive positioning on partner platforms. This role offers meaningful impact by accelerating learning and using AI to automate analysis.

- Design and analyze experiments across the partner funnel to measure impact on conversion and value
- Model customer behavior and operationalise findings into product/strategy decisions
- Own end-to-end analytics from framing problems to influencing decisions in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Perform causal inference and identify limitations of A/B testing, seeking robust alternatives when needed
- Analyse the full partner-referred journey from application to credit assessment to improve conversion
- Assess competitive dynamics and articulate how iwoca can win attention on partner platforms
- Coordinate with commercial and strategy teams to ensure tests align with ongoing work
- Leverage AI to accelerate and automate analytical workflows and evaluate its value
- Statistical foundations with understanding of Bayesian reasoning and hierarchical modelling or decision-making under uncertainty
- Experience with causal inference in observational and experimental data
- Ability to translate data insights into actionable business decisions
- Proficiency with data manipulation and modelling tools
- Comfort owning ambiguous problems end-to-end from framing to influencing decisions
- Experience using AI to accelerate analysis and model building
