Data Team Lead, EMEA

Overview

In this role you manage end-to-end delivery of data management services for single or multi-service projects, ensuring quality deliverables on time and within budget to customer satisfaction. You provide comprehensive data management guidance to the DM team to create high-quality data management products that meet customer needs. You lead planning, execution, and close-out of projects, and oversee related financials, communications, and milestones. You act as the Data Team Lead to drive process improvements and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Gather study setup requirements with stakeholders
• Support validation of new device integrations
• Oversee regular data cleaning to ensure timely, sponsor-ready data
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations
• Ensure service and quality align with contract/SOW timelines
• Assist training of new joiners
• Lead internal study meetings and sponsor meetings; participate in kick-offs
• Track and manage projects; identify risks and take corrective action
• Oversee implementation of new technology/database revisions with guidance
• Collaborate with programming team for process innovation and automation
• Comply with trainings and eSOPs
• Provide review and expert opinion on core operating procedures
• Maintain collaborative communication with line manager and cross-functional teams
• Perform other duties as directed by Line Manager

• Bachelors degree in relevant field with proven data management experience
• 3-4 years direct Data Management experience, including at least 1 year as CDM project lead
• English fluency (spoken) and advanced English
• Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word)
• Advanced understanding of drug development lifecycle and clinical research processes
