Data Validation Specialist

As a Data Validation Specialist at Addepar, you will support data conversion for new clients by comparing large data sets across spreadsheets and systems to ensure onboarding accuracy. You’ll identify inconsistencies, document findings clearly, and collaborate with Project Leads who guide research and serve as client liaisons. The role is non-client-facing and requires focus, consistency, and comfort with repetitive tasks, making precision your primary driver. This position helps scale onboarding by strengthening data quality and traceability, contributing to a reliable client experience.

• Review client data across spreadsheets and platforms to spot inconsistencies or gaps
• Document and log findings in a standardized format
• Collaborate with Project Leads and act as main contact for clients
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Identify and implement AI-driven automation and LLM integrations to streamline implementation

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a data-oriented field
• 1+ year of experience in a structured, detail-focused role (data entry, financial operations, or data quality assurance)
• Strong organizational skills with emphasis on accuracy and consistency
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel) and web-based platforms
• Familiarity with financial data is a plus
• Quick learner and able to follow structured data navigation processes
