Overview

As Databricks Engagement Lead at EPAM, you shape and govern strategic Data & AI engagements from vision to delivery. You will build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and act as the primary EPAM contact to drive account growth across multiple sectors. Your role blends business strategy with technical leadership to deliver data modernization, ML, and enterprise AI initiatives that create measurable value. You engage C-level executives, influence proposals, and champion governance and best practices in data & AI transformations.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and drive account growth by identifying opportunities and shaping proposals
  • Lead end-to-end engagements ensuring on-time, high-quality deliverables aligned with business objectives
  • Coach delivery teams and advocate data governance, analytics, and enterprise AI integration
  • Contribute thought leadership through client sessions, events, and knowledge sharing; support pre-sales activities
  • Represent EPAM as a strategic Data & AI partner at industry events and guide proposal creation and offers
  • Drive Data & AI revenue in the country/region of operation
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, learning and continuous improvement
Key requirements
  • Experience managing client-facing engagements or accounts in consulting, professional services, or systems integration with track record of growing accounts
  • Ability to build credibility with C-level executives and facilitate business/technical discussions
  • Working knowledge of cloud data platforms, data engineering, governance, ML and generative AI
  • Experience in engagement scoping, estimation and framing value propositions; mentoring cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills translating technical concepts to business value
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certifications a plus
  • Industry expertise in Health & Life Sciences, Retail & Consumer Goods, Financial Services or Manufacturing
  • Technical and business fluency in local language (English, German, Dutch etc.)
