Overview

In this role you will design and deliver robust data pipelines and lakehouse solutions for clients, leveraging Databricks and cloud platforms to enable scalable analytics. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure governance, security, and high-quality data products. The position offers impact across client engagements and the development of reusable assets to grow the practice. A strong emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and mentoring is expected, with a clear opportunity to shape data engineering standards at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Client engagement and delivery for data projects
  • Data pipeline development (batch and streaming)
  • Databricks and lakehouse architectures
  • Data modelling and optimization (Delta Lake, Medallion)
  • Collaboration and adoption of best practices
  • Quality, governance and security
Key requirements
  • Proven data engineering experience on Databricks and cloud-native platforms
  • Client-facing consulting experience and collaboration skills
  • Hands-on data lifecycle expertise: ingestion, transformation, modelling, governance, consumption
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities
  • Experience leading/mentoring engineering teams to deliver scalable data solutions

  • Databricks platform (Spark/PySpark/Scala, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow)
  • ETL/ELT tooling (DBT, Matillion, Talend)
