DATACENTER ARCHITECT L3

As a Data Center Transformation Architect, you will lead end-to-end DC transformation from strategy to execution, aligning with the customer’s business drivers and compliance needs. You’ll own target-state designs across compute, storage, network, and DR, guiding multiple delivery streams and ensuring secure, resilient operations. You will translate requirements into architecture roadmaps and practical designs, while coordinating with stakeholders and vendors. This role offers high-impact work on large-scale modernization and brings technology leadership to client environments. You will drive reusable patterns, governance, and knowledge transfer to operations.

• Lead current-state assessments across compute, storage, network, virtualization, backup, DR, monitoring, and operations
• Define transformation strategy and phased execution roadmap aligned to business drivers
• Own end-to-end data center target architecture covering compute, storage, network, virtualization, security, and DR
• Produce architecture deliverables (HLD/LLD, reference architectures) and ensure maintainability and operability
• Define migration approaches, wave planning, and risk mitigations with application teams
• Establish architecture governance, reviews, risk management, and technical decision authority
• Coordinate with stakeholders across Infrastructure, Security, Operations, and Vendors
• Maintain customer-ready documentation and support knowledge transfer to operations
• Identify opportunities for new revenue streams and drive automation/DevOps practices

• Strong experience in infrastructure/data center architecture and large-scale DC transformation
• Expertise in compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and DR/BCP design
• Proven ability to create strategy and translate into implementable designs
• Delivery-focused with ability to manage complex environments and multiple stakeholders
• Excellent documentation and communication skills, able to present to executives
• Familiarity with automation/IaC concepts (Ansible/Terraform) and standard build pipelines
• ITIL/ITSM familiarity and security considerations
• Experience with VMware and platform modernization
