DataOps Engineer – Finance

Overview
In this role you will maintain and improve production financial data pipelines and support ERP systems within a busy, 24/7 quant-focused environment. You’ll join London's middle office to enhance data ingestion and transformation, working closely with engineers to ensure compliant development pipelines and timely data delivery. The team values practical improvements, technical excellence, and learning from one another as you help drive efficient data operations for decision makers. This is a hands-on role with clear impact on data reliability, performance, and operational support in a high-intensity finance setting.
Responsibilities- Ensure timely completion of data processing pipelines and troubleshoot databases, processes, and services
- Provide operational and process improvements based on experience and best practices
- Provide technical support and configuration for the global ERP system
- Collaborate with system developers to ensure the development pipeline follows established business processes
- Monitor support channels and respond to user issues
- At least 2 years’ professional experience in financial data
- SQL
- ETL concepts

- Python or Powershell
- STEM or accounting degree
- Ideally some understanding of financial accounting
