Platform Technology Lead Responsibilities
Lead the technical delivery of database platform changes, upgrades, enhancements and integrations.
Translate business requirements into scalable, practical technical designs and implementation plans.
Work with architects, developers, product teams and suppliers to deliver secure, resilient and maintainable solutions.
Review technical designs, configurations and interfaces, providing assurance across build, testing, deployment and early life support.
Manage technical risks, dependencies and implementation plans, ensuring changes are operationally ready.
Drive engineering best practice, technical governance, automation and continuous improvement, reducing technical debt and improving operational efficiency.
Platform Technology Lead Requirements
Proven experience providing technical leadership across platform technology change and delivery.
Strong experience working with database platforms and associated technology changes.
Experience leading platform enhancements, upgrades, integrations and implementation activities.
Ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and delivery plans.
Experience working with architects, engineers, product teams and third-party suppliers.
Understanding of security, resilience, performance, compliance and operational support requirements.
Strong communication, stakeholder management and technical problem-solving skills.
