Key Responsibilities

• Database Administration- Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Managed Instance environments.
• Monitor database performance
• availability

• and capacity.
• Implement and manage HA/DR solutions including Always On Availability Groups
• replication
• backup
• and recovery.
• Perform database patching
• upgrades
• migrations
• and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues related to performance
• locking
• blocking
• and connectivity.
• Database DevelopmentDesign and develop T-SQL objects including Stored Procedures
• Functions
• Views
• and Triggers.
• Optimize SQL queries
• indexing strategies
• and execution plans.
• Develop and support ETL processes using SSIS and Azure Data Factory (ADF).

Required Skills

• 7+ years of SQL Server DBA and Database Development experience.
• Strong expertise in: oAzure SQL Managed Instance (SQL MI)
• T-SQL Programming
• oQuery Optimization & Performance TuninngoSSIS
• SSRS
• Azure Data Factory
• oDatabase Security & Monitoring
• 2+ years of Java and Spring Boot development experience.
• Experience with REST APIs and Microservices.
• Exposure to Azure DevOps
• Git
• and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure cloud services and database migrations.
• Knowledge of Power BI
• Databricks
• or Synapse.
• PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
• Azure or Microsoft SQL certifications preferred.
