Delivery Lead, Engineering & Technology, CP R&D IT

In this Delivery Lead role, you drive reliable, transparent delivery across Platform Engineering, AI Enablement, and Product Engineering. You own cross-squad dependencies and ensure incremental value through well-governed delivery ceremonies. You align external vendor commitments, manage risks, and publish clear dashboards to enable data-driven decisions. You will shape how platform teams collaborate to accelerate science-enabled crop protection innovations. This is a high-impact role at a global leader solving complex digital challenges for sustainable agriculture.

• Coordinate delivery rhythm and ceremonies to drive outcomes
• Surface and manage cross-squad dependencies inside Platform Engineering and with primary consumers
• Coordinate day-to-day delivery with vendor leads and statements of work
• Onboard/offboard vetted externals with Staff Engineers and surface capacity issues early
• Chair the Delivery Council and manage the cross-stream dependency register
• Escalate only when consensus cannot be reached and trigger re-plans as needed
• Establish and maintain delivery metrics and reporting for transparency and action
• Publish delivery dashboards covering health, dependencies, and metrics
• Lead recurring delivery forums and prepare for wider Engineering and Technology cadence
• Identify, assess, and mitigate delivery risks and issues, communicating impact
• Facilitate capacity planning and resource allocation discussions
• Champion continuous improvement in delivery processes
• Maintain delivery documentation and knowledge repositories

• Proven track record coordinating multi-squad engineering delivery in enterprise environments
• Understanding of CI/CD, cloud, IAM, observability, API infrastructure, and HPC
• Ability to distinguish and escalate technical, resourcing, and process risks
• Adaptability in Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid platform engineering approaches
• Influencing without authority with credible leadership backing
• Exceptional written communication and clear dashboards/reports
• Turn retrospectives into real operating changes with follow-through
• Fluency in English (written and verbal)
• Experience delivering tech capabilities in scientific, R&D, data-intensive, or complex enterprise settings
