Dermatology PA

The Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive dermatologic care, including:

• Evaluation and treatment of common and complex dermatologic conditions
• Diagnosis and management of skin cancers and precancerous lesions
• Evaluation of suspicious and changing skin lesions
• Treatment of acne, psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, dermatitis, and other medical dermatologic conditions
• Performance of appropriate dermatologic procedures within the PA's training and scope of practice
• Biopsy and management of suspicious skin lesions
• Patient education regarding skin cancer prevention, sun protection, and treatment plans
• Follow-up and ongoing management of established dermatology patients
• Collaboration with the supervising dermatologist on complex cases and treatment decisions

Position Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of dermatology experience required
• Current North Carolina Physician Assistant license or eligibility for licensure
• NCCPA certification
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills

• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the supervising dermatologist
