Salary: £35,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements

  • We are looking for a team player with at least 3 years of experience in an IT Support role.
  • We need someone who can understand user needs, manage issues through to resolution, and escape where necessary.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to learn quickly are essential.
  • A proactive, highly organised approach with the ability to prioritise workloads and adapt to change is required.
  • A friendly and personable manner when dealing with colleagues is important.
  • A full driving licence is desirable, and willingness to work flexibly in line with our business needs is preferred.
  • Experience with desktop support is preferred.
  • Applicants should be able to commute to or relocate to Inverness, Highland before starting work.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-line technical support across all IT areas.
  • Build, deploy and configure laptops for new and existing employees.
  • Upgrade hardware and peripherals as required.
  • Procure IT equipment and software licences where required.
  • Act as a key point of contact for technical knowledge and expertise.
  • Follow and adhere to processes and procedures, while checking and advising where improvements can be made.
  • Communicate effectively with other IT team members and provide regular updates.
  • Support employees and help ensure systems run smoothly by resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Deal with calls, emails and in-person requests for IT support.
  • Escalate issues where necessary and contribute to resolving them efficiently.
