Overview

In this role you will provide hands-on IT support to internal customers, resolving software, hardware and system problems and maintaining desktop and server environments. You will install and modify operating systems, configure LAN hardware, and support user accounts and security. The position supports daily operations within a global fintech context and involves collaboration across departments to keep systems running smoothly. You will work from the London office and contribute to the reliability and security of critical technology assets.

Responsibilities
  • Configure, install and maintain LAN hardware, software and telecom services (servers, routers, switches, modems, cabling, ISP)
  • Upgrade operating systems
  • Establish and maintain network user environment, directories, and security
  • Create user accounts and support network users and shares
  • Maintain and control Hardware and Software for MS Office
  • Develop and communicate standards for use, operations, and security of network, PCs and data
  • Coordinate with other departments to report and resolve software, hardware, and operations problems
Key requirements
  • Experience in a small to medium data center
  • 1–3 years in computer technology field
  • Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
  • Windows 7/10
  • MS Office 2010/2013/365
  • MCP, DCSE, A+ Certification preferred
  • Knowledge of Cisco Firewalls a plus
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong follow-through
  • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication
  • Results-oriented and resourceful
  • Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
  • Windows 7/10
  • MS Office 2010/2013/365
