Overview

In this role you will provide hands-on desktop support for a large user base in a Windows environment, ensuring smooth access to core tools and services. You will work within a high-caliber quant trading firm that values learning, collaboration and innovation. You will troubleshoot incidents, manage requests, and collaborate with Level 2/3 teams to resolve complex issues. The position offers hybrid working in London and a chance to contribute to a fast-paced, tech-first culture. You will help maintain stable, secure workstation experiences for traders and staff across on‑premise and cloud-based solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Handle requests and incidents promptly using internal runbooks and incident processes
  • Collaborate with Level 2 & 3 teams and external vendors to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Provide alert management to proactively resolve failures and degraded services
  • Support Windows desktops and related Office 365/Azure services, AD, and remote access
  • Assist with hardware troubleshooting and software deployment
Key requirements
  • Strong experience in a Microsoft environment (Windows 10, Windows Server 2012+)
  • Expertise with Office Suite including Outlook, Office 365, Azure, OneDrive, SharePoint
  • Deep knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, remote access solutions, and software deployment
  • Experience installing and managing desktop hardware
  • PowerShell proficiency
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
