Overview

In this role, you will deliver advanced end-user and desktop support across Windows, macOS (Apple), Linux (Ubuntu) and mobile devices, acting as a SME for complex issues. You will support AV and meeting room tech, manage deployment and administration of corporate endpoints, and mentor teammates. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable end-user services and asset management. This is a hands-on, problem-solving position in a fast-paced, collaborative IT environment with a clear impact on daily operations and meeting room tech readiness.

Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for desktop hardware, laptops, tablets, cell phones, printers, and related software and OS
  • Act as SME for complex issues and escalate when needed
  • Support conference room and meeting room AV equipment (Poly, Crestron, Zoom) and room systems
  • Manage and deploy end-user devices via SCCM/MDT (Windows) and Landscape (Ubuntu) and MDM for mobile devices
  • Administer and troubleshoot operating systems, end-user applications (Office, Outlook, Visio, Project) and security apps (Anti-Virus)
  • Configure and maintain Active Directory and Group Policy for endpoints
  • Create and maintain deployment packages and runbooks; document procedures and knowledge base
  • Monitor and maintain VOIP systems and telecom peripherals; support non-Windows OS
  • Provide ticketing lifecycle management from creation to closure; contribute to automation and tooling
  • Mentor and train teammates; participate in team strategy and process improvement
Key requirements
  • 5+ years of enterprise-desktop support experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux (Ubuntu) desktops and hardware
  • Hands-on experience with SCCM/MDT and Landscape; mobile device management (MDM)
  • Advanced knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Experience with Office suite, Exchange, and related apps (Outlook, Visio, Project)
  • PowerShell scripting and desktop automation; strong problem-solving
  • Experience with AV hardware and meeting room systems; network setup basics
  • Excellent communication skills in English; ability to work under pressure and mentor others
  • Ability to work in UK and right to work (visa sponsorship not available)
