Overview

In this role you will provide desktop and infrastructure support for a mixed Windows/Linux trading environment. You’ll collaborate with Linux, Windows, Cybersecurity and Network teams to monitor systems and troubleshoot in real time. The position supports a 24/6 trading operation across continents, focusing on reliability, performance, and rapid issue resolution. You will work on core Windows and network administration tasks while engaging with production users to minimize downtime. This role offers a path to grow within a fast-paced, technology-driven trading firm.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for users in automated and manual trading environments
  • Monitor and troubleshoot systems across Windows, Linux, and network domains
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Linux, Windows, Cybersecurity, Network) to resolve incidents in real time
  • Diagnose and resolve desktop, server, and network issues with minimal downtime
  • Assist with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows administration tasks
  • Support production environments in a high-demand, 24/6 trading context
  • Engage in scripting, performance monitoring, and general administration for Windows platforms
  • Participate in project work independently and contribute to uptime goals
Key requirements
  • Solid foundation in computer science and networking principles
  • Technical strength in networking, programming, or system administration
  • Knowledge of Windows Desktop/Server OS and best practices in production
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy and related subsystems
  • Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues at desktop, server and network level
  • Familiarity with Linux and PowerShell
  • Strong analytical and problem-deconstruction skills
  • Clear, effective communication; self-motivated and eager to grow
  • Ability to manage projects independently
  • Experience in a high-demand, uptime-critical environment
