Overview
In this role you will uphold the stability, performance, and scalability of the research and trading infrastructure for the Equities Trading team. You’ll partner with researchers, developers and portfolio managers to ensure reliable production systems and data pipelines while driving infrastructure improvements. You’ll build automated and AI-informed workflows to enhance research outputs and data delivery, and you’ll monitor end-to-end processes to prevent issues. The opportunity combines advanced tech with fast-paced FX-like trading dynamics to enable high-quality returns.
Responsibilities- Design and build out production environments
- Continuously monitor critical research and trading tasks
- Develop automated testing frameworks and AI-driven enhancements for research outputs
- Improve stability and performance of infrastructure components
- Monitor logs and proactively resolve production issues
- Oversee data pipelines and dependencies, ensuring timely data delivery
- Collaborate with researchers, developers, and PMs to deliver tailored solutions
- Maintain and monitor web scraping pipelines for data accuracy and reliability
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools
- Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow
- Familiarity with data pipelines and ETL processes
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
