Developer

As a Software Development & QA engineer at Watchfinder & Co., you will build scalable web applications and contribute to both front-end and back-end work. You will design and maintain end-to-end tests with Playwright, and integrate testing into CI/CD to raise quality and coverage. You will promote TDD, SOLID principles, and collaborate with designers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver reliable features. • Design and develop scalable web applications (front-end and back-end)
• Write, maintain and improve automated tests using Playwright
• Increase code coverage and test reliability across applications
• Promote TDD and SOLID principles in code and tests
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve reporting
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver features
• Upskill the team in Playwright and automated testing techniques
• Contribute to testing framework improvements and best practices

• Strong experience with Playwright for end-to-end testing
• Solid software development background with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with Angular (or similar front-end frameworks) and REST APIs
• Proficiency in C#, MVC, Python and SQL/T-SQL
• Experience with unit/integration testing and TDD
• CI/CD experience and integrating tests into pipelines
• Git and Azure DevOps (or similar)
• Knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns
• Familiarity with AWS and IaC tools (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform)
• Awareness of security and data protection best practices
