Developer

In this Developer role within the Design, Develop and Transition team, you design, build and extend digital services using the Microsoft Power Platform to support staff and residents. You collaborate across technology and council services to deliver secure, reliable, and well-tested solutions that address user needs. You will contribute to the full development lifecycle, from design and testing to deployment and documentation, in a multidisciplinary agile environment. • design, build, test and improve apps, integrations, processes and automations within the Microsoft ecosystem
• write clean, secure and well-tested code following standards
• explain technical options and collaborate with product owners, solution architects, testers and specialists
• produce clear technical documentation and assist with testing and deployments
• investigate and resolve issues to support ongoing service operation
• peer reviews of work to ensure quality and shared learning

• degree in a computer-related field or equivalent technical knowledge or practical experience
• practical software development experience
• strong specialist knowledge in Microsoft Power Platform
• experience with Azure platform services, C# or modern web development (preferred)
• ability to manage workload, prioritise, and work in a multidisciplinary agile team
