Developer

In this role you will design and develop scalable web applications within Watchfinder's engineering team, ensuring secure, high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with designers and cross-functional teams to deliver features that support global product expansion and a superior customer experience. You’ll work with modern technologies and cloud services to build robust back-end and front-end components. Your work will contribute to secure data handling and reliable performance at scale.

• Design overall architecture of web applications and develop robust, scalable, and secure software solutions.
• Maintain code quality, responsiveness, and organization across applications.
• Collaborate with the Engineering team and designers to implement features and visual elements.
• Implement security and data protection measures for applications.
• Develop server-side logic and integrate with front-end components.
• Work with cloud solutions and implement push notifications using AWS.
• Use Git and Visual Studio Team Services for version control and collaboration.
• Apply Agile methodologies, focusing on Kanban, to manage and deliver projects.

• Proven experience with SOLID principles and design patterns
• Experience with Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, SCSS, HTML5, Unit Testing, TDD, Web Pack, C#, MVC, Python, REST web services, and SQL/T-SQL
• Knowledge of IaC tools and frameworks including AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK and Terraform
• Knowledge of security best practices
