Developer Advocate

As a Developer Advocate at JFrog, you’ll bridge engineering, product, and the global developer community to translate complex platform work into engaging content, demos, and conversations. You will illuminate how JFrog’s core domains — Artifactory, Xray, Curation, Distribution, Pipelines, Workers, Fly, AI/MCP, and ecosystem integrations — drive real-world value for developers. You’ll create trusted technical content and demos, and feed community insights back into R&D and marketing. This role blends outreach with impact, shaping how developers experience and adopt JFrog’s platform at scale.
Responsibilities- Represent JFrog in developer, DevOps, security, and platform-engineering communities via conferences, meetups, webinars, podcasts, and online conversations
- Create high-quality technical content including deep-dive articles, demos, hands-on guides, screencasts, and code samples
- Build compelling demos and storytelling around core domains and ecosystem integrations
- Collaborate with R&D, Product, Security, Solutions Engineering, Architecture, and Customer Success to understand new capabilities and provide feedback
- Engage with open source and developer communities to identify new channels and conversations
- Partner with Marketing to strengthen messaging while maintaining technical credibility
- Monitor and report impact across community engagement, content performance, OSS participation, and DevRel KPIs
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 8 years hands-on experience as Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Security Engineer, Researcher, Architect, or similar
- Proven experience presenting technical topics to developers
- Strong writing and storytelling ability around complex concepts
- Deep understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps, software supply chain, CI/CD workflows, and modern developer tooling
- Ability to communicate clearly with developers, leaders, customers, and community members
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, Reddit, Twitter/X, Slack, Discord for community engagement and content amplification
- Comfortable setting goals, executing independently, and measuring impact
- Genuine enthusiasm for engaging communities, learning in public, and amplifying developer value
