The Opportunity

Highspring is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a consulting engagement focused on the development and modernization of enterprise web applications.

In this role, you will work within an Agile delivery team, leveraging Angular and Java technologies to build scalable, high-performing solutions. You will play a key role in designing technical solutions, developing new functionality, ensuring code quality, and supporting the evolution of modern application architectures.

What You'll Do

• Develop, modify, test, and debug software solutions according to established plans and delivery timelines.
• Build and support enterprise web applications using Angular and Java technologies in an Agile environment.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable software components.
• Develop a deep understanding of system functionality and business processes to effectively support stakeholders and users.
• Design and model solutions for complex technical challenges while ensuring compliance with functional and non-functional requirements.
• Review architecture, design, and code deliverables to maintain high quality standards.
• Guide and support development team members to promote technical excellence and timely delivery.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and maintainability.
• Contribute to regression testing strategies that improve application stability and quality.
• Participate in the development and modernization of large-scale systems using modern web technologies.
• Analyze user needs, estimate effort, develop solutions, troubleshoot issues, test, document, and deploy enhancements.
• Collaborate with team members to evaluate technical approaches and build prototypes when appropriate.

What You Bring to the Table

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to contribute within Agile delivery teams.

Core Skills Required

• Strong proficiency in Java , Spring , and Spring Boot .
• Extensive experience with the Angular framework.
• Hands-on experience with Git version control.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices, including:
• OpenShift
• GitHub Actions
• Jenkins
• Understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum and SAFe.
• Strong DevOps mindset and experience working within modern delivery pipelines.
