Development Associate

WP Development is seeking a Development Associate to join our growing real estate development team in Markham.

This is a hands-on, evolving role suited to someone who is entrepreneurial, and comfortable taking ownership of a wide range of responsibilities. The successful candidate will support our active development projects while also helping coordinate repairs and maintenance for a recently completed condominium project.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of active real estate projects
• Review project information and help identify practical solutions to issues
• Support in coordinating repairs and maintenance at a completed condominium project
• Maintain organized records of repairs, warranties and project correspondence
• Take on additional responsibilities as the role and company continue to grow

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of experience in real estate development, construction, property management or a related field
• General knowledge of construction methods, building materials and common repair issues
