In this role you will lead the on-site development with a proactive, strategic focus, owning operations, safety, and service quality. You will coordinate a multi-facility estate to deliver value, compliance, and excellent resident experience. You will inspire and manage a team, monitor performance, and ensure cost-efficient service delivery aligned with the Four Pillar strategy. Responsibilities
  • Deliver and maintain high service levels; act as FirstPort’s representative to customers, clients and developers
  • Collaborate with Residents Associations/RMC/RTM Co and attend meetings as appropriate
  • Identify training needs; coach and develop direct reports; ensure KPIs and SLAs are met
  • Monitor performance, manage holidays, sickness, and shift coverage; organise emergency cover
  • Control costs and review expenditures; assist with service charges and present financial summaries
  • Lead proactive meetings with customers, contractors, and clients; address issues within agreed timeframes
  • Investigate and respond to complaints up to Stage 1; support Stage 2 via Regional Manager
  • Carry out risk assessments, health and safety checks, routine testing; ensure timely action
  • Supervise contractors and works on/around the development; raise and track works orders
  • Ensure regular site inspections; maintain fabric to high standards and meet KPIs
  • Respond to after-hours emergency queries and coordinate team actions
  • Conduct regular audits and remedial actions to maintain site quality and compliance
Key requirements
  • Operational management of a large, complex estate with multi-facilities
  • Expert in health and safety; implemented new systems and procedures
  • People leadership with ability to develop and motivate a team
  • Financial acumen; able to set budgets in line with lease agreements
  • Experience in mobilising new developments; familiarity with working with property developers
  • Strong stakeholder management and customer service orientation
  • Ability to manage contractor supervision and onsite works
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments and health and safety checks
