Development Manager

In this role you lead a small, skilled development team to deliver a brand-new e-factoring platform and CRM on a Microsoft stack. You bridge senior business stakeholders and technology, ensuring reliable operation of a critical transactional site. You will help build near-shore agile teams, drive delivery, and establish best practices to accelerate time-to-market in a fast-changing financial tech environment.

• Provide strong leadership to developers, Business Analysts and Testers
• Coordinate with VP Technology and TechOps to improve QA automation and CI/CD
• Own defect triage and ensure timely fixes by the right squads
• Team expansion and selection/interviewing for near-shore location
• Refine and prioritize backlogs with Scrum Masters and Product Managers
• Guide adoption of best practices for high-performing agile teams
• Oversee frontend (HTML5, Angular.js, CSS3) and backend (.NET Core, NoSQL) development
• Ensure maximum uptime of a critical transactional finance website
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between stakeholders and technology
• Participate in delivering a scalable, usable platform on AWS
• Hands-off approach to development while maintaining delivery focus
• Support usability and information architecture considerations

• 5 years of commercial development management experience
• Experience with MS Stack
• Understanding of Angular
• Agile qualification
• Experience leading teams in a fast-changing environment
• Delivery-focused with ability to take ideas to live market-ready products
• AWS or cloud exposure
• SQL and database design
• Knowledge of user-centered design methodologies and usability principles
