Development Manager

In this role you will support the Development Director to bring large mixed-use schemes from early planning through to disposal or construction. You will lead cross-functional delivery on greenfield sites, coordinating landowners, authorities and consultants to shape infrastructure and S106 outcomes. You will manage a sizeable team of consultants and oversee procurement of roads, water, electricity and other services, while steering planning and legal agreement processes. This is a high-profile, financially secure development group offering a clear path to senior management and directorship, with exciting, large-scale projects at scale.

• Support Development Director in moving schemes from planning to delivery or disposal
• Manage a large team of 20+ consultants across roads, infrastructure, water and services
• Coordinate with landowners, local authorities, planning officers, design consultants and legal teams
• Procure and manage infrastructure works and services for schemes
• Package serviced parcels for sale to other developers or house-builders
• Oversee compliance with planning obligations (S106) and social infrastructure elements
• Engage with consortium partners and manage multiple landowners on large schemes

• 8+ years in Development Management, with front-end leadership
• Experience running major developments of 1000+ units
• Proven track record on greenfield, mixed-use schemes
• Experience procuring and managing roads and infrastructure
• Exposure to S106 and social infrastructure considerations
• Strong stakeholder management with local authorities and design teams
